Damage to cars - SHERIDAN ROAD and other updates.

Morning all,

Yesterday I reported (with some crime prevention advice) about theft from motor vehicles in the SHERIDAN ROAD area. We did some digging and fund some footage of a group of what appears to be young adults in the area at the time, appearing to smash windows of cars before running off.

We have CCTV footage now from kind resident, so will be trying to follow this up for residents, as we have had three reported incidents of these youths causing the damage.

Any further updates, I'll let you know.

In other news, we've been dealing with a caller to an elderly gentleman who has been preying on his vulnerabilities, so he is getting all the help and support we can provide.  Also, another person causing ASB in the area was visited, with some VERY strong words of advice given. (His actions were more annoying than criminal, but annoying none the same!)

The team also went on the hunt for a wanted man, and nicked another for an old offence he was outstanding for too.

Add in our regular patrols in the Town Centre, (where we park up to prevent shoplifting) and it was a busy day!
